Additional clamping screw is needed. Depending on the material of the stylus and the workpiece, wear or material deposits may collect on the stylus. Therefore, regularly check your styli under a microscope and clean or replace them if damaged. Depending on the type and degree of contamination, a wide range of cleaning agents are available. ZEISS application engineers recommend stylus cleaning wipes or microfiber cloths.
1/2 star styli 90° are used together with M3 XXT extensions to create double styli with 90° angle
