Product note
The benefits of ZEISS measuring machines and the guaranteed machine specifications are only valid when using genuine ZEISS adaptor plates. VAST Performance can only be used with ZEISS adaptor plates. When using aftermarket adaptor plates the negative influence on accuracy and stability is not insignificant. When adding new adaptor plates in CALYPSO, if you receive “Cmm error 479…” this can be corrected by downloading and running the latest DeviceActivator from https://portal.zeiss.com/download-center/softwares/imt
The adapter plate provides an interchangeable interface between the sensor and a stylus system. Integrated cubes with M5 threads or M5 pro enable the attachment of ZEISS CFX extensions, connection elements and styli to suite any measurement application. The adapter plate then allows a manual stylus system change or a fully automatic stylus system change when using a Multi Sensor Rack (MSR). Only genuine ZEISS adapter plates provide full software functionality, accuracy, and machine optimization. ZEISS VAST XTR adapter plates are compatible only with ZEISS VAST XTR and ZEISS VAST XTR gold sensors. With its integrated 15° indexed rotary axis, the ZEISS VAST XTR sensor can automatically rotate the stylus system to match the orientation of the features being measured.
ID chip label 100% identification of the correct probe system in the firmware/software to avoid collisions and incorrect measurements.
Safe handling of the stylus system (no incorrect pick-up possible in the MSR)
Full support of VAST Performance FlyScan and QuickChange functions.
