Product note
It is not recommended to mix M3 REN elements with ZEISS XXT systems. The different base diameters may cause a loose connection, resulting in measuring errors. Depending on the material of the stylus and the workpiece, wear or material deposits may occur. Therefore, regularly check your styli under a microscope and remember to clean them or replace them if damaged. Depending on the type and degree of contamination, a wide range of cleaning agents are available for cleaning. ZEISS application engineers recommend stylus cleaning wipes or microfiber cloths.
Stylus with a diamond-coated sphere for scanning tasks that place the highest demands on material deposits and wear. Suitable for measuring magnetic components. M3 thread for ZEISS VAST XXT probes.
Spherical styli have the same probing behavior in every direction
Diamond coated sphere resistant to deposits and wear
Carbon fiber shaft with optimal stiffness, weight, and thermal expansion
Straight shaft with longer measuring length
