The benefits of ZEISS measuring machines and the guaranteed machine specifications are only valid when using genuine ZEISS adaptor plates. When using aftermarket adaptor plates the negative influence on accuracy and stability is not insignificant. When adding new adaptor plates in CALYPSO, if you receive “Cmm error 479…” this can be corrected by downloading and running the latest DeviceActivator from https://portal.zeiss.com/download-center/softwares/imt
The Reference adapter plate provides an interchangeable interface between the sensor and a reference probe. The plate is marked in red to clearly identify this plate.
