The use of M3 REN extensions are not recommended on ZEISS scanning sensors such as VAST, VAST Gold or VAST XXT. Due to the smaller base diameter and the resulting reduced rigidity compared to the M5 or M3 XXT extensions, the reproducibility is poorer.
